- John and Cindy Mosbacher opened Whistle Stop Yogurt more than 13 years ago, serving nearly 4 million ounces of yogurt to a hungry community. They have also employed more than 175 people, providing many first jobs to local teens.
- “We explain to potential new hires that we are ambassadors to Placerville,” said Cindy, noting the establishment stands at the entry of Placerville. “We really promote the history and vibe of Placerville and El Dorado County.”
- The Mosbachers also enjoy being part of this community. “We would like to thank the community for their support, for voting for us BEST YOGURT. Thank you also to our great team members (Clayton, Daniela, Devon, Donise, Kadin and Mallory),” said John.
